Last month, The Keller Group asked our LinkedIn community a series of questions about today's hiring process and job search experience. We listed a few of our favorite takeaways from hundreds of responses from candidates and employers below:
64% of respondents said two interview rounds is the ideal hiring process, while 25% voted for three rounds
64% said they're most likely to apply when a salary range is included in the job posting, meaning salary transparency drives applications
44% across the board voted that when making final hiring decisions, skills/experience and culture fit were the most important factors
72% said the biggest challenge in the job search right now is getting interviews
Bottom line: the job market is active, but competition is real - getting in front of the right opportunity can be the toughest part. Candidates are prioritizing roles with clear salary ranges and streamlined interview processes, and staying proactive and align with the right opportunities can make all the difference in landing that next role.
