Your resume is your first impression — and often, your only shot to grab attention. Here are a few quick tips to make it count:
Tailor your resume to each role. Use the job description as a guide and highlight relevant skills and achievements.
Keep it clear and concise. Two pages max. No fluff. Focus on results and impact.
Use strong action verbs. Think “led,” “built,” “streamlined,” “managed” — not “responsible for.”
Quantify your work. Numbers speak. “Reduced processing time by 30%” hits harder than “improved efficiency.”
Make it skimmable. Clean formatting, bullet points, and bolded section headers go a long way.
Proofread — then proofread again. Typos can cost you interviews. (Which we have seen many times)
Your resume should tell a clear story: who you are, what you’ve done, and why you’re a great fit. Need a second set of eyes on yours? We are always happy to help.
